"Julius . . . tell me your story."

"Now? Yeah man! I'll start from the beginning."

"Hello, my name is Julius Kintu. I’m from Uganda, and I lead a worship ministry called Organic Worship.

Organic Worship is a ministry dedicated to empowering and nurturing the body of Christ through authentic, Holy Spirit-led worship. It’s about more than just music. It’s about encountering God, building community, and cultivating revival through worship.

I was raised by a single mother, Betty Kwagala, in a small town called Masaka, which has a population of about 52,000 people. It’s predominantly Christian, although a variety of religious backgrounds exist. My mother had a very difficult life— she experienced multiple miscarriages and stillbirths. My father, who wasn’t a believer and had no relationship with the Lord, abandoned us after I was diagnosed with liver failure at the age of three. Doctors said I wouldn’t live long.

However, everything changed when my mom gave her life to Christ. She became a woman of deep faith, and she prayed for my healing. I still remember that day . . . she came back from a Christian conference, laid hands on me, and prayed with the full faith of someone who had just encountered Jesus. That day, I was healed! I got out of bed and ate for the first time in a long time. It was a miracle! Later, I had a scan done, and it showed a scar on my liver— evidence that something had once been wrong but was now healed. It just so happened that the scan was conducted by a woman named Martha, who would later become my wife."

"Oh wow Julius! That is beautiful."

"At the age of 10, I gave my life to Jesus. Despite the healing, our life was marked by poverty. But my mother held on to God’s Word. She began preaching in hospitals, and many people were saved and healed. Others passed on, but she remained faithful. She taught me how to pray, took me to church, and was instrumental in leading many of our relatives and community members to Christ. She even built a church on her property, where many of her siblings and villagers began to gather and worship. Growing up in that kind of spiritual environment shaped my walk with God.

I started serving in the church at a young age. When I was 13, a prophetic word was spoken over me— that I would one day lead worship before thousands. At the time, I couldn’t even sing in tune. But God has been faithful to that promise. I later pursued a degree in Social Work in Uganda. After graduating, I went to the UK to attend Carmel Bible College in Bristol. My time there was transformative. I grew spiritually, discovered more about my identity in Christ, and had a powerful encounter with God during a theology class. The presence of the Holy Spirit was so strong that the entire room was moved to tears.

After Bible school, I returned to Uganda and launched Organic Worship. I had already experienced a taste of this ministry while in the UK, and I knew God was calling me to do something similar at home. Around that time, I met my wife, Martha Kintu, at a home group. We were friends for a year when I knew she was the woman of my life. We dated for four months and then got married on September 20, 2014. We’ve now been married for 10 years, and by God’s grace, we’re in the process of adopting a beautiful six-month-old baby girl named Hazel. We’re so thankful for this gift."

"Man. This is so good!"

"Julius, what are you expectant for with Organic Worship? What has God spoken to you and how have you seen it fulfilled?"

"God has placed a clear vision on my heart— to raise a sound of revival through worship . . . uniting the body of Christ in worship and helping people experience the power and presence of God through music and prayer.

One key prophecy from my early life is already being fulfilled. In 2021, I was part of a worship band called Unite Band, and we led worship at the Bristol Stadium in the UK, just as God had promised when I was younger. Now we’re preparing for something even greater.

On June 14, 2025, we are hosting "Sound of Worship: Revive Masaka," an international day of worship in my hometown. We're expecting between 3,000 to 5,000 people to gather for 12 hours of nonstop worship and prayer. People will be coming from the U.S., Uganda, and other regions to lift up one unified voice of praise. The Bible says that when the praises go up, His glory comes down. We want to sing over our city, pray for our people, and see lives transformed. The prophecy from God has been and is being unfolded and unpacked in my life and through the people God has entrusted me with to see it come to fruition.

This will be the first event of its kind in Masaka, and we believe it will be a powerful time of healing, salvation, and transformation. We’re also planning future worship camps, which are retreats where people can come away to seek God deeply, be refreshed, and be equipped for ministry. These will be held near riversides and lakesides to provide a peaceful atmosphere for worship and prayer.

Through Organic Worship, we also want to invest in discipleship, train worship leaders, and support church worship teams across the country. Our heart is to create spaces where people can encounter God, be empowered by the Holy Spirit, and carry that revival back to their communities.

I thank God for what He’s already done . . . and for what’s coming."

"Julius, what name or attribute of God would you give to your story?

"Omniscient."

"Omnisience is defined as 'the state of having total knowledge, or the quality of knowing everything,'" said Julius. . . . For God to be sovereign over His creation of all things, whether visible or invisible, he has to be all-knowing. His omniscience is not restricted to any one person in the Godhead. By nature, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are all omniscient. He knows the end from the beginning

and He knew my story from the beginning."
